About Season

New York Theatre Ballet's New York repertory and family seasons are presented annually from December through April. With the exception of our Dance On A Shoestring series, all New York performances are presented at Florence Gould Hall, 55 East 59th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue. Florence Gould Hall is an intimate, 400-seat theater, making the performances highly accessible to audiences. You will see every gesture, expression, and detail - and feel a part of the action. Dance On A Shoestring is presented in the Dance Gallery at New York Theatre Ballet, 30 East 31st Street, 5th Floor.

Sallie Wilson (1932-2008)

"On the plus side, the under-publicized New York Theatre Ballet, courageously maintained by Diana Byer for three decades, may be the most intriguingly programmed ballet company in the United States. With a mission to maintain the Cecchetti-Diaghilev traditions, and with the authoritative assistance of giants like Sallie Wilson, championing the repertory of Antony Tudor particularly -- not to mention its school -- NYTB has established itself as an essential international ballet company."

- Paul Ben-Itzak, The Dance Insider, November 2007
