Sallie Wilson Scholarship & New Works Fund
The Sallie Wilson Scholarship Fund has been established by NYTB in honor of our beloved teacher, ballet mistress, mentor and friend who passed away in April 2008. Ms. Wilson’s prolific career spanned decades, and we’re proud to have had her work so extensively with the Company for 22 years.
Each year, one student from BSNY will be awarded this scholarship in her name.

- - currently studying in the advanced level of BSNY
The Sallie Wilson New Works Fund was created as to honor Sallie’s memory through the wonderful contributions she made to the repertory of NYTB. One work per year will either be created or revived adding works to our repertory for seasons to come. In 2008, with the assistance of the Jacob’s Pillow Archives, Antony Tudor’s Trio Con Brio was revived and presented on tour and at Dance On A Shoestring.
